Argh, it’s getting hard for me to come up with intros for my Tune in Tuesday song choices! Suffice it to say, I wasn’t having a great day, but this song came on the radio and cheered me up. It’s almost too sappy and lovey-dovey, but sometimes that’s just what you need. Also, I’d like to learn this song on guitar so that I could play an acoustic, folky version — can’t you hear it that way in your head? So anyway, here’s the Goo Goo Dolls with “Come to Me”:

I really loved the Goo Goo Dolls in my middle school and high school years. Still have a few of their CDs lying around (I think Gutterflower is my favorite)!

Gosh I love this song something fierce! It is so fantastic in EVERY way! I can definitely picture this as a folksy song so I vote yes to the guitar learning of it 🙂
